Goriška vas pri Škocjanu is a small village in the Škocjan municipality in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saints Hermagoras and Fortunatus and belongs to the Škocjan parish. It is a medieval building that was restyled in the Baroque in the first half of thr 18th century.[3]
